I was browsing through videos of V8 Supercar races on Youtube when I stumbled upon this series called Super V8 that runs in Mexico. I started watching one of the races and found it pretty interesting. The series runs V8 powered tube frame cars that look like Audis, BMWs, and Benzs so its kinda like a tubeframe DTM version. The current champion is Antonio Perez who is the older brother of F1 driver Checo Perez. Anyone else ever discover new racing series while browsing on Youtube?

I doubt it. All cars and engines are same spec. Theres no other carmaker branding present other than the badge on the front.

They do a pretty good job at making them look like their counterparts. Reminds me of NASCAR.
